1. Provider and scope
The provider and contracting party is ProWebSolutions GmbH, Aurelienstr. 48, 04177 Leipzig, Germany. StoreVigil is its product. These terms apply to the public Free Check, accounts and trials, and paid StoreVigil Core through worldwide Direct Web sales.
StoreVigil Core is intended for storefront operators ordering the service for their business or independent professional activity.
2. Service
StoreVigil is a monitoring and analysis tool for authorised public storefront pages. It combines direct availability checks with automated browser analysis and provides results, history, notifications and evidence within the booked scope.
The scope follows the selected plan, authorised domain, technical safeguards and customer account configuration. “Complete storefront” means the authorised and discoverable public page inventory within those contractual and technical limits, not an unlimited assessment of arbitrary systems.
3. Free Store Check
The Free Check can inspect up to three representative public pages without an account. It is read-only, submits no forms, creates no order and changes no store data. The time-limited result link creates neither continuous monitoring nor an automatic paid continuation.
4. Account and authorisation
A verified account is required for the trial and Core. Customers must provide accurate contact details, protect credentials and be authorised to monitor the submitted domain. StoreVigil may request suitable evidence or renewed confirmation of authorisation.
5. Seven-day trial
After store activation, the free trial provides seven days of analysis and recurring monitoring for the complete authorised public storefront within the technically permitted scope, including the dashboard, rechecks and agreed emails. No credit card is required. The trial ends without cancellation and never converts automatically into a paid contract.
After expiry, checks may pause and trial data may be deleted under the documented periods. Core requires a separate and express paid checkout.
6. StoreVigil Core, price and VAT
StoreVigil Core costs a total of EUR 39.00 per month. For a German billing address, this includes 19% German VAT. For a business in another EU country, German VAT is not charged when a VAT ID matching the billing country is supplied; the customer accounts for VAT under the reverse-charge procedure. For businesses outside the EU, German VAT is generally not shown. The billing period is one month and the contract can be cancelled monthly at the end of the current paid period.
Customers must provide their actual billing country and the business details required for the correct tax treatment. If an order process expressly and transparently displays another plan or price, the summary immediately before the order applies. Changes to existing contracts require the agreed change process.
7. Contract formation
The plan display and checkout entry invite the customer to submit an order. The customer reviews billing details and price, confirms business status, the current terms version and electronic invoice delivery, and submits a binding order subject to successful payment by selecting “Continue to secure checkout”.
Redirecting to Mollie or returning from it does not form the contract. Core starts only after StoreVigil verifies the paid provider status server-side and confirms activation. Confirmation and invoice are supplied in the customer account and/or by email.
8. Payment provider
Payments are handled by Mollie. The payment methods offered at checkout are provided by the payment service provider, and no particular method is guaranteed. StoreVigil does not process full card details. Recurring payments follow the confirmed monthly contract.
9. Invoices and corrections
ProWebSolutions GmbH issues StoreVigil invoices. Electronic invoices are supplied in the customer account and/or by email. Refunds, chargebacks or errors may produce a separate correction document; provider receipts do not replace the StoreVigil invoice. Customers must keep billing details and billing email current.
10. Cancellation and end of contract
Customers can cancel Core in their account at the end of the already paid month. Cancellation prevents future renewals; access normally remains until the stated paid-through time unless a material reason for suspension or termination applies. The free trial does not require cancellation.
Contract end does not immediately erase every record. Product data is removed under the documented periods, while invoice and accounting data required by law remains restricted.
11. Service limits
StoreVigil owes the agreed checks with reasonable professional care, not a completely error-free storefront or detection of every fault. Measurements depend on time, network location, cache, WAF, CDN, theme, apps, APIs and the public state visible at the time.
StoreVigil is not a complete WCAG or accessibility audit, a complete security audit or a complete SEO audit. It does not guarantee particular rankings, revenue, 100% worldwide availability, prevention of every outage or instant detection of every change. Findings are qualified technical indications and do not replace specialist review.
12. Third-party services and blocked checks
A store’s hosting, CDN, WAF, Cloudflare, theme, apps, APIs and payment services are outside StoreVigil’s control. StoreVigil may observe their effects or classify a check as restricted or blocked, but is not required to bypass third-party safeguards. This does not broadly exclude the duty to perform the StoreVigil service actually promised.
13. Maintenance and security
We may maintain, update and reasonably change StoreVigil for security or capacity. Where possible, foreseeable material disruption will be announced. No 100% service-level agreement applies. Urgent security measures may occur without notice; we will reasonably limit disruption and restore the contracted service.
14. Customer duties and acceptable use
Customers may monitor only domains and systems they are authorised to assess. They must keep contact and billing data accurate, protect credentials, and refrain from attacks, overload, abusive alert triggering, bypassing safeguards or assessing protected third-party systems. Compromised credentials or withdrawn authorisation must be reported promptly.
15. Rights of use
For the contract term, customers receive a simple, non-transferable right to use StoreVigil within the agreed business scope. Rights in StoreVigil, its software, design and methodology remain with ProWebSolutions GmbH or the relevant rights holders. Customers retain rights in their content and can access their reports through the product interface.
16. Liability
We have unlimited liability for intent and gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, liability under the German Product Liability Act and other mandatory law.
For a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to loss that was typically foreseeable when the contract was made. Essential obligations are those whose performance enables proper delivery and on which the customer can ordinarily rely. Liability for other slight negligence is excluded. Mandatory statutory claims remain unaffected.
17. Privacy and processing on behalf of customers
Our privacy notice describes processing for our own purposes. Where StoreVigil processes personal content from public customer pages solely on instructions for monitoring and evidence, an Article 28 GDPR data processing agreement may also be required. A privacy notice does not replace such an agreement. A binding process will be completed separately before a broader paid rollout.
18. Changes, law and venue
Material changes to these terms for current contracts require an objective reason, transparency and reasonable advance notice. Price, core service or a material adverse change will not be deemed accepted merely through silence; express consent will be obtained where required.
German law applies. Leipzig is the exclusive venue only where that agreement is effective under German law, in particular for merchants, legal persons under public law or special public-law funds. Mandatory venues remain unaffected.
19. Additional terms for the Shopify app channel
Where StoreVigil is installed through the Shopify app, no StoreVigil password account is created. The merchant expressly starts the seven-day trial inside Shopify Admin. The trial covers the complete authorised public storefront within technical limits, requires no card, ends automatically and never converts automatically to a paid plan. Existing results may remain visible while further checks pause.
A paid Shopify plan is selected exclusively through Shopify’s hosted App Pricing interface. A redirect to plan selection alone grants no access. StoreVigil activates Core only after the Shopify Partner API verifies the active subscription for the exact app, exact shop and configured plan. Billing, receipts and cancellation for this channel are additionally governed by the terms shown in Shopify Admin. Mollie and the direct StoreVigil invoice flow are not used for this channel.
Cancellation at period end normally keeps access through the verified end of the current cycle. Uninstall immediately stops monitoring and notifications. Privacy duties and statutory retention remain unaffected. These channel terms still require final professional legal review before general publication.
